Sir John A. Macdonald Building
In 2015, the John A. Macdonald heritage building located in Ottawa underwent major renovations. Our mandate was to design, manufacture and install an automated rigging system for projection screens and a motorized curtain system :
- Supply and install 6 motorized projection screens suspended on “Unistrut” type structures.
- Supply and install 6 motorized “0 fleet” hoists and their rigging systems in the attic of the building.
- Design, supply and install a new screen control system.
- Design, supply and install velvet curtains and valences on motorized tracks in the main hall. Windows dimensions : 35 ft (10.65m) x 9 ft (2.7m)
