Théâtre Alphonse-Desjardins
The new Alphonse-Desjardins Theater in the heart of the Espace culturel in Repentigny opened its doors in the fall of 2020.
Our mandate was to design, manufacture and install a rigging system designed for lighting, sound, stage curtains and orchestra shells.
- 7 motorized sets with 42’-8” (13m) double battens using zero-fleet hoists. Capacity of 1500 lb (682 kg).
- 2 motorized sets dedicated to the orchestra shell with 42’-8” (13m) battens using zero-fleet hoists. Capacities of 1685 lb (765 kg) & 1885 lb (855 kg).
- 1 motorized set for the FOH with a 35’ (10.7 m) double batten using a zero-fleet hoist. Capacity of 1400 lb (634 kg).
- A complete orchestra shell made out of 2 ceiling sections and 7 mobile towers. The orchestra shell is 21’ (6.4 m) high.
- A complete drapery set including rigid valance and leg at the FOH, main drape, midstage traveler, 3 sets of legs, 4 stage borders, 2 audience borders and a cyclorama.
