Wilder Building - Espace Danse
In 2017, Wilder building’s Espace Danse opens its doors to four leading Montreal dance organizations. Taking up residency are: The Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, Tangente, École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and Agora de la danse.
For this project, our mandate was to:
- Espace Rouge studio:
- Design, manufacture and install 19 double battens for motorized sets
- Supply and install 19 motorized 0 fleet hoists
- Design, manufacture and install 19 sets of pulleys for motorized sets
- Design, supply and install a new control system
- Espace Orange studio:
- Design, manufacture and install 5 double battens for motorized sets
- Design, manufacture and install 8 double grids for motorized sets
- Supply and install 13 motorized 0 fleet hoists
- Design, manufacture and install 13 sets of pulleys for motorized sets
- Design, supply and install a new control system
- Espace Bleu studio:
- Design, manufacture and install 3 double battens for motorized sets
- Design, manufacture and install 6 double grids for motorized sets
- Supply and install 9 motorized 0 fleet hoists
- Design, manufacture and install 9 sets of pulleys for motorized sets
- Design, supply and install a new control system
- Espace Vert studio:
- Design, manufacture and install a hand crank mechanism for a moving catwalk used to adjust room lighting and sound equipment.
